Community-Built Chabad Apps
The checked roster of apps and sites shluchim and members built and shared in the AI for Shlichus chats, one line each, with dead links removed.
On this page
These are the Chabad apps and sites members built, or shared as community projects, in the AI for Shlichus chats between late 2025 and October 2026. Every link below was opened on 2026-10-21. Sites that no longer load were taken off the list (see the end of the page).
Most are small, single-purpose and free. Many were built in a weekend with Claude Code, Lovable or Base44. Inclusion here is not a review: test a tool yourself before you rely on it, and check anything that touches a Torah text, a zman or money.
The ChabadLabs App Store has fuller listings, with screenshots and ratings, for the apps marked "App Store page" below. To add yours, use Submit an app.

Built for one Chabad House
Members also posted things built for their own community only. They are not tools you can use for yours, and they are not linked here because each one points to a specific Chabad House. Examples from the chats:
- A full Chabad House website built from scratch with Claude Code, pulling events from a campus portal and sending every form through Google Apps Script (July 2026).
- A campus Pesach sponsorship page built in about a day with Claude (March 2026).
- A year-end campaign dashboard built in one prompt on Lovable (December 2025).
- A seating page for the Tishrei services, a birthday list for a women's group, and several event pages with raffles (August to October 2026).
No longer online
Checked on 2026-10-21 and removed from the roster: Tenpr.app (the maaser tool, no response), the chabaduptown.com event pages (no response), the Paris daily-tzedakah tracker on GitHub Pages (page not found), AshreiNiggunim (loads, but the link list is empty), the Emmet CRM site (page not found) and a donor-plaque page shared in July 2026 (page not found). If one of these comes back, tell us through the App Store and it can return.
What changed in 2026
- The pace picked up after Purim. Most of the learning sites above appeared between March and October 2026, and a ChabadLabs App Store opened in August 2026 so they stop getting lost in chat history.
- Members noticed duplication. In September 2026 one member asked everyone to post one or two sentences on what they were building, after several people turned out to be building similar reading or Rambam tools. No process came of it; the App Store and the community skills repo on GitHub (chabad-commons) are the practical answer so far.
- A builder pushed back in October 2026: the Megillah app was a short, one-time-use project, and long-running apps that shluchim depend on all year are much harder to maintain. See Vibe Coding.
