CRM and Donor-Management Tools

The donor and contact systems shluchim use in late 2026, with verified prices where vendors publish them and how well each one works with AI.

On this page

By late 2026 the question in the group changed from "which CRM is best" to "which CRM will let my AI read and write safely." A member estimated in September 2026 that about 25 shluchim were building their own CRMs with AI. The more cautious view, repeated often: keep a real system of record and put AI on top of it.

Prices below were checked on vendor pages on 2026-10-21. Where a vendor does not publish a price, none is given.

Choosing one for AI

Questions worth asking any vendor, drawn from what went wrong for members:

  • Does it have an API or MCP connector, and can the AI write, or only read?
  • Can you give the AI its own limited user, so you can see what it entered? (A shliach created a dedicated LGL user with limited permissions for his agent.)
  • Does it show a preview before an AI change is saved? MYS and DAAS both advertise this.
  • Can you import a CSV of gifts and review it before it posts? CMS Cloud's Upload Donations works this way.
  • Can you export everything if you leave?

Donor research tools

  • Hatch.ai: AI prospect research for nonprofits; enriches donor records from public data. Pricing on its plans page.
  • WealthEngine: paid wealth screening for fundraising.
  • Exa Websets: research lists; one member called it worth the money for fundraising (2025).
  • Perplexity Deep Research: good for people with a public footprint, per 2025 reports.

Keep research to public information and to people who already have a relationship with your Chabad House. A January 2026 thread is a useful warning: a shliach used Gemini to dig up contact details for someone who had declined to give them, and the group's reaction was that it was creepy.

Forms that feed a CRM

  • Tally: free form builder; its MCP server is free on all plans and lets Claude or ChatGPT create forms and read submissions (it cannot delete them).
  • Jotform and Fillout: form tools members mentioned for their Salesforce integrations.
