berel.me

A growing collection of free, single-purpose web tools for shluchim at berel.me: raffles, labels, luach, sicha tools, Hebrew-date conversion and more, most of them vibe-coded and run in the browser.

On this page

berel.me is one member's collection of small web tools, each at its own address (berel.me/raffle, berel.me/crop and so on). Each one does one job. Most need no account and keep your data in the browser. New ones often appear the same day a shliach asks for something in the chat.

The tools are free and built with AI, mostly Claude. The first batch, in December 2025, was made with Claude Opus 4.5; one early raffle tool was started with another model, came out buggy, and was fixed with Claude.

Every address below was opened on 2026-10-21. The App Store has fuller listings for berel.me and several of its tools.

For classes and events

ToolWhat it does

OneMoreYidA quick page of Jewish and Chabad resources to share with someone you just met.

Learning

ToolWhat it does

SichaStitchPaste screenshots or a PDF of a sicha and stitch them into one clean image.
The TasteA weekly luach that grays out what does not apply. A map shows where it is printed, and an auto-print installer prints it every week on Windows.

PDF labelsA simpler Avery label PDF maker.
Waiver MergeFill a PDF template from a spreadsheet, one PDF per row. App Store page.
Crop PDFTrim PDF margins or change the page size, in the browser.
DonatextSaved donation messages with fill-in fields, ready to paste. App Store page.
Davening papersPrintable Mincha and Maariv sheets for a camp or group. The page itself says the nusach has not been reviewed: check every sheet before you use it.
Ashreinu total timeA bookmarklet that adds missing total durations on ashreinu.app.

Dates, zmanim and Shabbos

ToolWhat it does
Hebrew date converterPaste a list of dates and convert them all at once, with a "past sunset?" option.
Our daysUpcoming Chabad yomei d'pagra, with a countdown to shkiah at your location.
Candle lighting displayA screen that shows this week's candle lighting time for your location. App Store page.
Shabbos lampTurns a phone into a bedside lamp and silent alarm for Shabbos. The page warns about the phone's sensors; ask your rav before using a phone this way on Shabbos.

A countdown page in the same collection (berel.me/isitshabbosyet) had a time-zone bug that was caught the day it was posted in August 2026, and it now carries its own warning not to rely on it. Treat any time shown by a small tool as a draft and check it against a source you trust. See Zmanim and Hebrew Dates.

Other

  • Nu?: an Android app that makes messages from one chosen person (a spouse, say) impossible to miss.
  • Camera overlay: lays a faded image over the live camera view.
  • Fully Clear Pushka: an experimental 3D pushka counter.
  • berel.me/seforim and berel.me/sefarim forward to shared Google Drive folders of seforim PDFs.

Why it works

Each tool answers one request, runs in the browser, and stores nothing on a server. That keeps it inside the group's vibe-coding rules: no logins, no database of people, no payments. If a tool breaks or goes stale, nobody's data is at risk.

The trade-off is that one person maintains all of it. Some tools are marked beta or unfinished on their own pages, and a few older addresses now forward elsewhere. Earlier addresses that no longer work (as of 2026-10-21): berel.me/passover, berel.me/proclamations (now forwards to an outside page) and a birthday gag page.
