ChatGPT Gives Visual, Interactive Answers

A shliach watches in surprise as a chat bubble on his screen unfolds into a chart, a map and a calculator, while a small robot proudly presents it.

ChatGPT can now give visual and interactive answers. Ask how something works, and it may draw a diagram you can follow. Ask it to compare or plan, and it may build a chart, a side-by-side comparison or a small calculator, right in the chat.

OpenAI calls it Intelligent UI (User Interface).

Our take. This is awesome and great to be moving away from plain text answers.

Gemini 4 Is Here

A small robot in a boxer's robe climbs back into the ring under a big number 4 while a shliach in the front row cheers.

Google started rolling out Gemini 4 Argon on October 13, the first model of its new Gemini 4 family.

Google says Argon answers more directly, with less hedging, less repetition and no clichés.

Google is also rolling out a new Customize menu to every Gemini user, free included. It sets how Gemini answers you, adds skills, and connects more than 40 apps, such as OpenTable, Instacart and Adobe. Most app connections work in English in the US for now.

Our take. Gemini has been very behind in the AI race, so it's exciting to see a powerful new model from them. Though we're skeptical, we're watching to see how it does in the real world. For Gemini users it's great news regardless.

Design a Giant Menorah in 3D

A shliach turns a 3D model of a giant menorah on his laptop while a small robot holds a tape measure up to the screen.

Chanukah is seven weeks away, and the public menorah is on every shliach's list. Ask ChatGPT to design yours, and it builds a 3D model right in the chat that you can spin around and look at from every side. This is the new "Intelligent UI" in practice.

Then turn it around and ask for changes: taller, a wider base, lights on top. Show us what it made in the AI for Shlichus WhatsApp group. For Shluchos, share it in the Shluchos AI group.

Ask ChatGPT
Design a giant public menorah for our town square, about 15 feet tall, with straight diagonal branches. Make it a 3D model I can turn and look at from every side.
