Numéro 18 · L’hebdoTab Goes Paid as Shluchim Go All In

The AI track at the Kinus Hashluchim runs on Thursday, November 5, from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm. Four sessions, one full day of AI for shlichus.
Something new from ChabadLabs is coming at 2:45 pm. Be in the room when it launches.

The last session of the day is the one we're most excited about. Brains on Fire starts at 5:30 pm, and it runs almost like a game show. It's going to be very high energy.
The whole room throws out ideas for shlichus, the wilder and crazier the better, and we vote on them. We also hand them to AI, and AI comes back with ideas of its own. Then we cut the list down and keep voting until we have the winning ideas.
Even if you spend the rest of the day elsewhere at the Kinus, come for this one.

A few weeks ago, personal agents were something to try. Now tons of shluchim in the AI for Shlichus group use Tab, Instinct and Muse every day. You text these agents a job, and they go and do it.
Tab, a popular and awesome one just introduced paid plans (which means started charging in plain English).
Our take. We love how shluchim have gone all in on agents, and while it's not cool, it's no surprise that Tab started charging.
Try Tab →Anthropic launched Claude Duet on October 21. It's a new app where Claude works for you in the background, basically Claude's version of Instinct or Muse. Each morning it sends a short brief on what needs your attention. Then it checks in every few hours, drafts replies and books things, and keeps working after you close the app.
It asks before it sends a message, pays, signs or deletes anything. Moving money between accounts is blocked even if you approve it.
For now there's a waitlist, open to Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US.
Our take. We haven't gotten our hands on it yet, but we have a strong feeling this will be a very good product. It runs on very smart models.

A serious security hole was found in PHP, the software behind every WordPress website and much of the rest of the web. It lets an attacker take over the server a site lives on. Researchers found it with the help of AI, and a fix came out on October 21.
Updating WordPress does not fix it. Your web host has to install the fix on the server. If the Chabad house site or donation page runs on WordPress, send your host or webmaster one message this week.
Hi, can you confirm that the October 21 PHP security update (PHP2Shell) is installed on the server for our website, and that PHP was restarted afterward? Thank you.
If you've built any sites or tools with AI, get them checked too.
Be especially careful with the apps and sites you've given access to your Google account. Remove any you don't need or don't trust anymore. You can see the list here.
And in general, it's a good time to do an internet security audit. You can paste this into your AI:
Conduct a comprehensive digital security and privacy audit of my entire online life. Use every account, app, service and source I've connected to you. Discover other services I use through emails, subscriptions, receipts, login notifications and account activity. Investigate everything relevant to me, including: - Accounts and identities: Google, Apple, Microsoft, social media, messaging, shopping, subscriptions, old or forgotten accounts. - Money: Banks, credit cards, payment services, investments and financial documents. - Personal information: Sensitive files, cloud storage, sharing permissions, identity documents, medical records and exposed personal data. - Account security: Password security, two-factor authentication, suspicious activity, breaches, recovery methods and connected devices. - Third-party access: Apps, websites, AI agents, extensions and services with unnecessary or excessive permissions. - Business and technical systems: Websites, domains, databases, cloud services and developer tools, where relevant. Look especially for hidden risks, forgotten accounts, unnecessary access and sensitive information exposed without my knowledge. Go beyond a basic checklist. Investigate deeply, follow leads, cross-reference findings and verify what you can. Prioritize actual problems over theoretical risks. Focus on changes that meaningfully improve my security, without making my digital life unnecessarily complicated. Deliver a concise, prioritized security report: 1. What genuinely concerns you and why. 2. Specific evidence of the problems you discovered. 3. What should be fixed immediately. 4. What you can fix for me, with my approval. 5. What still needs further investigation. Use your available tools to do as much of the actual investigation and remediation as possible. Don't simply tell me how to conduct the audit myself.

ChatGPT now gives visual, interactive answers. Ask how something works, and it may draw a diagram. Ask it to compare or plan, and it may build a chart or a small calculator right in the chat. OpenAI calls it Intelligent UI (User Interface), and it works on every plan, free included.
Here's a fun way to see it. Chanukah is about five weeks away, and the public menorah is on every shliach's list. Ask ChatGPT to design yours, and it builds a 3D model right in the chat that you can spin around and look at from every side.
Then ask for changes: taller, a wider base, lights on top. Show us what it made in the AI for Shlichus WhatsApp group. For Shluchos, share it in the Shluchos AI group.
Design a giant public menorah for our town square, about 15 feet tall, with straight diagonal branches. Make it a 3D model I can turn and look at from every side.
The AI track is on Thursday, November 5. Registration for the Kinus workshops is open. Save your seat.
