A children's game: run Eastern Parkway and the Old City.

Mitzvah Runner is a running game for children. It opens in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a classroom screen, with no account and nothing to install. The player swipes left and right, jumps and slides past crates and traffic, down Eastern Parkway collecting the ten Mivtzoim coins or through the alleys of the Old City of Yerushalayim collecting the Aleph-Beis. Gates along the way lead from one scene to the other. Short facts appear during the run, the day's Hebrew word is spelled out letter by letter, and when a run ends, one question with three answers can win it back.
A child can add a photo, and it becomes the runner's face. The photo is cropped on the device and kept in that browser. It is never uploaded, and it stays there until someone removes it or the browser clears its own stored data, as a private window does when it closes. The menu has a Remove photo button, and for a shared tablet, one button that forgets the photo, the progress and the theme choice. The game plays the same without a photo.
The game counts runs started and finished and sends anonymous reports of its own errors to an error-monitoring service. It sends nothing about the player. The hosting provider keeps standard access logs (internet address, browser and time), and the game does not control how long it keeps them.
Content pending review. The game says this on its own menu. Most of its pictures were made with AI, many of them redrawn from photographs, and the facts and questions were drafted with AI. An educator has not yet signed off on them, so please play a run yourself before handing it to a child. A link on the menu, for teachers and parents, sends feedback.
